Butter is made by churning fresh or fermented cream or milk to separate the butterfat from the buttermilk. Rendering butter, removing the water and milk solids, produces clarified butter or ghee, which is almost entirely butterfat. There is a different between margarine and butter.
Margarine is a non dairy product created as a substitute for butter. The primary ingredients of margarine include vegetable oil, water, salt, emulsifiers, and some also include milk. Unlike butter, margarine isn't something that can be made at home. Our cafe mainly uses butter as that is the preference.
